Symmetrical in two planes, axe head with elliptical socket, with long cylindrical butt, terminated with a band of spiked notches. 1190   BRONZE LUGGED AXE/CHISEL            SECOND HALF OF II MILLENNIUM B.C. Cast. Flat,  with rectangular butt end and bi-concave blade with slightly convex cutting edge, ground only from one side, leaving opposite side flat. L. 6"(15.2 cm), H. 0.2"(0.5 cm).
