Light orange-brown clay. Black glaze all over, except for the underside of bottom with red-orange surface wash. Glaze fired brown in some areas of exterior wall. Shallow rounded body with vertical upper wall. Low wide foot, concave on outside, carinated at lower wall, flat bottom with wide band in black, dilute slip circle with dot in a circle in the center. Two loop handles attached horizontally below the rim. On the floor, four stamped palmettes clustered around circular groove. Handles mended, otherwise intact. H. 1.7″ (4.3 cm), D. 3.8″(9.7 cm).
