Electrum and glass mount

last quarter of IV-beginning of V century

Oval flat blue glass framed by wall and wide electrum band consisting of four concentric rows: fine granulation along the perimeter flanking two twisted wires, placed next to each other in opposite direction, forming a “braid”. Silver backing plate, mended. Iridescent glass surface. 26 x 22 x 3 mm.
