Electrum and glass mount

last quarter of IV – beginning of V century

Oval blue glass cabochon framed by wall and wide electrum band consisting of three concentric rows: fine granulation along the perimeter with twisted wire in between. Backing plate is gone, revealing yellow-gray backing paste. Glass mended. 25 x 21 x 6 mm.
