Brown, fine-grained fabric with a dark red slip covering the exterior, extending inside below the rim and terminating at the lower body; fired gray-brown over much of the surface.
Compressed globular body gradually merging into a parabolic neck with a stepped base. Horizontal rim with a vertical edge. Low pedestal foot with the central part of the underside slightly recessed. Kidney-shaped handle in cross-section, decorated with three longitudinal grooves on the exterior.
