Roman gold glass necklace

Mediterranean or Iran

Composed of large barrel shaped beads, all segments of gold in glass tubes, with finished ends by grinding. Interspersed with segmented gold-glass beads with smooth ends. All beads are intact, in good condition and few beads are with minor cracks or small area of outer layer missing.
Central segmented bead: D. 6 mm, L. 16 mm. Necklace is 18.6″ ( 47.3 cm) long (without clasps).
