The sheet-gold plaques, hammered over a matrix. Two holes (at top and bottom) for attachment. L. 30 mm.
These ornaments would be suspended from diadem encircling the head, the log-shaped ornaments were sewn onto a leather strap for additional support. There is a thick layer of organic nature still remaining on the back.
